HAUMEA and the Quantum Invitation of Kuiper Belt Creator Deities, with Kelley Hunter

Since the beginning of the third millennium, our vision of the solar system has been expanding. Recent discoveries in the Kuiper Belt (and beyond), largely named for indigenous creator gods from around the world, invite us into expanded realms of consciousness, mirroring the emerging ‘quantum’ era. Focusing on Haumea, Hawai’ian Goddess of Birthing, we explore how this new realm adds meaningful dimension to our planetary roster, with mythic stories beyond the classical Greco-Roman world-view. What can we learn from these wisdom cultures? With references from quantum science and spiritual tradition, we peer into the aetheric realm, the fifth element, and claim our potential power as co-creators.

Reviewing keynotes of our experience thus far in this paradigm-shifting era, we see how Haumea has been square-dancing with Pluto, King of the Kuiper Belt, as they changed sign in tandem. Where is Haumea in your chart? I’m intrigued to see what resonances arise from this pairing of Ceres and Haumea!

Bio - Kelley Hunter, Ph.D., seasoned Depth Astrologer and AstroMythologist, blends influences from psycho-spirituality, holistic studies, leading edge physics and creative arts. A special interest in the Feminine Divine led to two books on Lilith— Living Lilith: Four Dimensions of the Cosmic Feminine and Black Moon Lilith. The quantum consciousness potential of the Kuiper Belt realm inspired early, original research into this fresh astrological terrain, and her Planetary Gods & Goddesses Coloring Book. She has revived decades of study of planet Pluto, the first Kuiper Belt discovery, leading to her upcoming publication, Pluto and the Underworld Mysteries. Personal consultant and writer, Kelley teaches online for various groups and video/podcast channels. She spent a nodal cycle stargazing and mermaiding in the Caribbean, serving as astrologer for the Self Centre at Caneel Bay Resort and the Omega Institute winter programs. Back in Vermont, she sends out Cosmic Inspiration News on lunations and other stellar moments. Find her at www.Starlady.substack.com and www.heliastar.com.

Our Daily Bread: An Astrological Exploration of the Mythology of Demeter/Ceres, with Paul Kelley

The story of Ceres, the ‘goddess who suffered,’ while separated from her beloved daughter Persephone, exemplifies compassion for personal loss and the ability to nurture beyond the bounds of immediate family. Her story offers meaning to people navigating the seasonality of their lives, and on a social level, it puts the focus on the miracle of seasonal agriculture. Let’s explore the story, demystify a bit of the Eleusinian Mysteries, briefly examine the dwarf planet Ceres through the lenses of astronomy and metaphor, and then see how beautifully the mythology is reflected in Ceres’ discovery chart. We’ll wrap up with a summary of astrological themes with chart examples and check in on transiting Ceres.

Bio - Paul has been lecturing in person to groups throughout the Northeastern US since 2017 and virtually to groups in the US and England. During the pandemic years, he created four videos for NCGR’s Foundations of Astrology video lecture series on their YouTube channel, NCGR-The Geocosmic. His ninth house Virgo Moon also enjoys astrology courses. Most recently, Paul has been learning the perspectives and techniques of Hellenistic and archetypal astrology through Nightlight Astrology’s 3-year certification program. When not immersed in planetary vibes, he works on the grocery stock team at Kimberton Whole Foods, a family-owned regional grocery chain in southeastern Pennsylvania and teaches occasional lifelong learning courses in Pennsylvania geography, astrology, and travel or regional literature.

We hope to see many of you in person and welcome those of you who will join us on Zoom!
