Always Forward, Never Backward: The Phenomenon of Retrograde Planets

Numerous astrological methods exist for interpreting retrograde planets. These often involve re-activities: reflecting, reorienting, revising. In a simplified model of the sky, a retrograde planet is simply doing a lap of honor. But when you look up, it suddenly takes flight—veering from its usual path to trace a celestial loop. What do these mesmerizing loops signify astrologically?
